This project explores the notion of striping a building down to its most fundamental base elements, leaving only that which is considered necessary for function whilst revealing at the same time, the elements that best stimulate a positive sensory experience of the space.

Natural light, unconfined space, a seamless connection to a serene landscaped garden and the cathartic effect of flowing water all contribute to the overall sense of well being this project instills. With an uncomplicated finishes palette comprising of bluestone, raw concrete, smooth render and glass this home provides sanctuary and retreat from the demands of the metropolis beyond.
